Back in 1969 we were given an opportunity from Datsun to prepare a PL-510 Sedan (and a four door at that) for F.I.A. competition at Daytona 24 hour and the Sebring 12 hour endurance races. Dick Roberts, then head of Datsun competition, was to be one of our co-drivers.  Little did we know that this was to become a life long love affair with the 510 and later the Z-Car.  Thirty years later we’re still at it!

With wins too numerous to count (including national championships) and track records coast to coast, it’s apparent we must be doing something right.  As Jack (Trans-Am) Baldwin said after stepping out of the 510 at Sebring, “That’s one Nasty little car!”  Later SCCA’s President and C.E.O., Nick Craw would say after winning the ‘ARRC’ championship in Atlanta that his RallyeSport Z-Car was “the best, most predictable handling race car I’ve ever driven.”
